Trey Marcham and Alex Schutte respectively lead the Honda USAC Western Midgets to this Saturday night’s race at Thunderbowl Raceway in Tulare, Calif. Marcham has an 18-point lead over Schutte in the Western Dirt Midget points, while Schutte has a 35-point lead over Marcham in the overall Western Midget points. Saturday’s race will be the first in four years for USAC Midgets at the track which has become a staple for the Sprint cars. Tracy Hines won the 2010 race.
