Saturday night proved to be worth the work involved to get the wins rolling for 2016. The night started off rough as we missed hot laps in the midget due to failed pick ups on our ignition. The team rallied to get car running literally to roll up for the heat. Starting third row inside we were able to get the win in the 8 lap heat race. Josh Hodges of Tijeras, N.M. stole victory from Damion Gardner on the final lap of Saturday night’s “So-Cal Showdown” USAC/CRA AMSOIL Sprint race at Perris Auto Speedway. Well the weekend didnt go quite as planned but we did run some fast laps. Started on the pole of the third heat and ran off with it but had some brake issues that would hinder us later in the evening.
