After further discussions with the World of Outlaws Late Model Series, their event has been shifted to a Twilight start time on Sunday, March 26th, 2017. This weekend we will be having test and tune for all class that race at the speedway from 2pm til 6pm. Gate will open at Noon. Drivers are welcome to come early and fill out paperwork for the 2017 season. If weather has an impact on this weekends events they will be rescheduled for next weekend April 1st. It was a beautiful evening in Rock Rapids for the opening event of the 2017 season at Rapid Speedway, sponsored by Keizer Wheels. Sportsman, USRA Hobby Stocks, USRA B-mods, USRA Stock Cars, and MSTS 360 Sprint Cars took to the track, with 95 race cars rolling through the back gate. Valley Speedway will crown the King Of Kansas City Thursday May 25th for the 5th time. Valley Speedway will award a championship belt to the winner of the A Mods, B Mods, and E Mods. A Mods and B Mods will receive USRA points. Come out and support your favorite driver and help cheer them on. Pits will open at 4pm, Fan Gates at 5pm, drivers meeting at 6pm and hot laps at 6:30. Admission is $15 adults, $13 Senior, Military, Student. $6 kids 6-12, free 5 and under.
