The Summer Thunder Sprint Series and the Washington Modified Tour are set to take on the 1/2 mile Yakima Dirt track. Dubbed 'Yakidegga' for it's long straightaways and high speeds, the State Fair Park dirt track has been a fan and driver favorite for years.
Defending series and tour champions Jason Solwold and Kyler Moore are set to take on a challengers from Washington, Oregon, Montana, Idaho, North Dakota, British Columbia and Alberta Canada.
The season opening event for the Summer Thunder Sprint Series welcomes returning series sponsors Here 2 Wire and E3 Spark Plugs along with new partners in XXX Raceco parts and DataPro Machining.
Below is some basic information about the event:
Thursday, March 30th Practice:
• Early parking available. Pit passes $20, on sale at 3:00pm
• Practice at 5:00pm
Friday, March 31st Event:
• Early parking available. Pit passes $35, on sale at 3:00pm
• Drivers Meeting at 5:00pm
• Opening Ceremonies at 7:00pm
Saturday, April 1st Event:
• Early parking available. Pit passes $35, on sale at 3:00pm
• Drivers Meeting at 5:00pm
•Opening Ceremonies at 7:00pm
Payout after the races in the pit area
All sprint cars must register with the Summer Thunder Sprint Series
All modifieds must register with the Washington Modified Tour
NO Personal Vehicles in the pit area

Adult (18-61): $18
Junior (7-17) / Senior (62+) / Active Military: $12
Kids (6 & Under): FREE
Reserved Boxed Seating: $23
