Inside Line Promotions – BILLINGS, Mont. (May 23, 2017) – BMP Speedway will return to action this Saturday when four divisions of race cars invade the 3/8-mile dirt oval.
WISSOTA midwest modifieds, IMCA modifieds and WISSOTA street stocks are making their second appearance this season while the Rocky Mountain Sprint Car Series will make its debut.
“We had a great season opener to start this month and have been hampered by some inclement weather the last two weeks,” BMP Speedway Owner Mike Quigley said. “This weekend’s weather forecast calls for a high of 72 degrees and sunshine on Saturday so it should be a perfect day.”
Rod Lorenz charged from sixth to win the season opener in the WISSOTA midwest modifieds division on May 6. Travis Davis advanced from fourth to capture the IMCA modifieds triumph and Devin Kenaston maneuvered from third to claim the WISSOTA street stocks feature victory that night.
The newly created Rocky Mountain Sprint Car Series was established as an entry level and affordable class of sprint cars. Saturday will mark the first visit of 10 remaining races at BMP Speedway this season.
The front gates are slated to open at 5:30 p.m. with racing at 7 p.m.
Tickets are $10 ($8 pre-buy) for adults and $7 ($5 pre-buy) for seniors, military members and students ages 12 to 17 years old. Admission is free for children ages 11 and younger. Pit passes are $30 per person.
