After a few rain outs we finally got the season opener in at Knoxville Raceway. And Young Fast Jack Anderson got to turn laps as a competitor for the first time. Jack qualified 18th in time trials. Lead about half the race and a stumbling issue that the team had battled all night seemed to keep getting worse each lap. Jack brought it home in 5th place. We will get it figured out and be back at it next week!

16 year old rookie, Fast Jack Anderson had a great showing on night #3 at Knoxville Raceway with a field of 42 cars in the 360 division. Time trialed 6th. Finished 3rd in the heat race. Brought it home 12th in the A Main. Jack was running 16th with a late race caution coming out and green, white, checkered to follow... everyone was running the bottom so Fast Jack took it upstairs and picked off four. Bringing it home 12th.

Bryce Norris kicked off his Memorial Day weekend on Friday with a visit to Gas City I-69 Speedway (Gas City, Ind.) to compete with the Schaeffer's Oil Indiana RaceSaver Sprints for the opening round of the Honest Abe Roofing Shootout Series. With an eighth-place finish in his heat race pinning him on the eighth row for the feature, Norris rebounded in the 25-lapper with an impressive charge up to sixth. The United Racing Club's event at the Selinsgrove Speedway on Saturday, June 3rd has been postponed due to weather. This event has now been rescheduled for Sunday, June 18th along with the Appalachian Mountain Late Model Speedweek event. Gate times and race times will be released in the coming week. URC's next event will be the Sunday, June 18th race followed by being part of the PA Speedweek Sprint Car Series at the Port Royal Speedway on Monday, July 3rd.
