Unfortunately, Friday night's USAC Midget Week event was rained out midway through midget qualifying. Following an inch and a half of rain on Thursday and more rain on Friday morning, Bloomington Speedway crews put in a herculean effort and were still able to open the gates on time Friday afternoon.
