The 2017 USAC Speed2 IMRA Midget Series completed its points campaign September 23 but this Sunday, October 15 officially signals the end of the IMRA schedule with a special “non-points” race at Quincy (Ill.) This Saturday night's Light Up the World Beverages USAC Western Midget race at Petaluma Speeway has been cancelled due to the massive wildfires that have erupted in the area and the fact that the Sonoma-Marin County Fairgrounds is an evacuation center. The series now focuses on the October 28 race at Ventura (Calif.) Raceway.
