John Christner Trucking Returns As ASCS Fall Fling Title Sponsor At Creek County Speedway

TULSA, Okla. (October 9, 2017) Slated for Friday, October 27 and Saturday, October 28, the Fall Fling is back at Creek County Speedway in Sapulpa, Okla. with the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series National Tour presented by the MAVTV Motorsports Network and will once again be presented by Oklahoma based, John Christner Trucking.

“What John [Christner] does for this sport is fantastic. He’s always been good to us, whether it’s the Fall Fling or the Chili Bowl. Last year was a great race, and we’re hoping to make it even better this year,” commented Emmett Hahn, who is again promoting the Fall Fling.

The payout for the Lucas Oil ASCS feature events will pay $3,000 to win, $400 to start on Friday, with Saturday’s upped to $4,000 to win, $400 to start plus lap money for the 40-lap finale, which was topped one year ago by El Paso’s John Carney II after a hair-raising battle with Friday’s preliminary night winner, Sam Hafertepe, Jr. The 2017 edition of the John Christner Trucking Fall Fling will also feature the Lucas Oil POWRi West Midgets with each night’s A-Feature paying $1,500 to win, $150 to start.

Leading up to the two-night affair, Thursday, October 26 will be an open practice for teams competing in the John Christner Trucking Fall Fling from 7:00 P.M. to 9:30 P.M. with free Food and Drink to follow courtesy of Pizza Express of Oklahoma.

“We weren’t sure we were going to do the Practice night again so we put it out there and had several teams say they would like to, so we’ll open up Thursday, and feed everyone again,” commented Hahn. “Like I said last year, the whole weekend is about having a good time, and standing around a bonfire with good food, drink, and friends at the race track is about as good as you can get.”

Co-Sanctioned with the American Bank of Oklahoma ASCS Red River Region presented by Smiley’s Racing Products, the John Christner Trucking Fall Fling will serve as the 2017 season finale for the Oklahoma based region, while the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour will continue on to Cocopah Speedway in Somerton, Ariz. for three nights of racing on November 9, 10, and 11.

Friday, October 27 and Saturday, October 28 at Creek County Speedway will open at 5:00 P.M. with racing at 7:00 P.M. (CDT).

Tickets are on sale at http://market.myracepass.com/store/tickets/?store=10044 or can be purchased the day of the race at Creek County Speedway. Admission October 27 is $20 for adults with kids 10-14 admitted for $10. Children under 10 get into the grandstands free. October 28 is $25 for adults with kids 10-14 admitted for $10.
