Patrick Wilda Jr., an occasional competitor in USAC Midget races in recent years, suffered fatal injuries in a construction accident Friday. A resident of Plainfield Ill., he was 33. Last August he finished third behind winner Kyle Hamilton in a USAC pavement Midget race at Morris, Ill. USAC extends its condolences to his family and friends.
