About Scotty
Scotty started racing competitively when he was just four years old in the Restricted Box Stock Class at English Creek Speedway. He is a three-time Track Champion, won Rookie of the Year in three different classes and Driver of the Year once.
Scotty had his debut at Knoxville Raceway in 2019 when he was asked to fill in for the last two races (just days after he turned 16) for Pro Sprints driver, Mike Ayers. Scotty was scheduled to race a full sprint car season in the Pace Pro Series class at Knoxville Raceway in 2020, but he was involved in a fuel fire accident in the fall of 2019. He suffered 2nd and 3rd degree burns on a third of his body. This hindered the 2020 season as he was only able to race two times.
Since then, he has faught back to racing full time at Knoxville Raceway and picked up 5 wins in the Pro Series class in the 2022 season. Unfortunately, he had to take the 2023 off to concentrate on recovery from his burn injuries. In 2024, Scotty will move up to race weekly in the 410 class at Knoxville Raceway.
