About Will

Will Lynn is a driver from Wisconsin with a rich background in racing. His drive and love for racing is second to none. Cutting his teeth at the young age of 12, Will got his start as a crew member of Wisconsin-based sprint car team. This would eventually become the foundation for his work ethic and passion for racing. Throughout his teens Will worked on several race teams, which lead him to being a Crew Chief at the young age of 18. In 2002 Will stepped away from for racing to focus on his career as a welder and on his growing family. After departure from racing Will came back in 2007 then relocated to Charlotte, North Carolina building SCCA Porche race cars and then to NASCAR as a fabricator and crew member for several teams. In 2009, Will became a driver for Riverside Racing, and drove a street stock at Wilmot Raceway. After just 5 nights of racing, Will won his first race! Not bad for a rookie. In 2010 Will ran a limited schedule driving a mini sprint for Mike Whitmore. After a brief hiatus from the racing world, Will returned to the track in 2014 as a crew member for Bill Rose Racing. Not only did Bill Rose win Rookie of the Year for the IRA, Will also was the co-recipient of the All Star Performance Mechanic award. In 2015 Will finally got back to the track driving a mini sprint for a full season with the WIMS mini sprint race club. He has appeared several times as a guest on the Robbie K and the Sports Krew (WLIP AM 1050), providing insight into the goings on in the race world, both local
