About Mike
Mike raced go carts as a kid, then skipped to North Star Speedway in 1997. He has many 1st place wins as well as impressive placement in nationals a number of times. Mike took 1st in the Fur Rondy races in 1999 and 2001. 17th in the Las Vegas nationals in 2004, 13th at Elko Minnesota in 2009. A Masters Championship in 2004. Season Legends Champion at Alaska Raceway Park during the opening season of the new oval track in 2016.
Mike gives away his trophy at the end of every night to a young fan.
Make no mistake, just because Mike is 77 this year doesn't mean he will be an easy mark. Be on your toes boys!
