About David

My name is David Marlow and I'm a local dirt track driver. I'd like to start out by saying Thank You for taking the time to learn more about me and my race team.
Since childhood I had always dreamed of racing, so when the opportunity presented itself for me to buy my first race car in 2015, I jumped on it and started my racing hobby driving a limited schedule in a 1988 Monte Carlo in the street stock series at Farmer City Raceway in Farmer City, Illinois.
After turning my first lap in the car, I was hooked! As the 2015 season wound down, I realized I needed to make a decision on the type of car I wanted to invest in to follow my dreams on a long term basis. So, in 2016, I moved up to the Pro “Crate" Late Model series at Farmer City Raceway where we finished 8th in track points. My goal for the 2016 season was to learn the car and finish in the top 10 in points. I'm proud to say I was able to accomplish both goals as I continued to improve as the season went on.
At the End of the 2017 Race Season, I was in a severe motorcycle accident that has prevented me from racing in 2018 & 2019. During that time, Shawn Diggs came to drive for Marlow Motorsports and I begun my stent as a car owner.
I returned to racing action in 2020 where I focused on adjusting to being back in the car during a COVID shortened season. In 2021, I fulfilled some big dreams by Racing at Bristol Motor Speedway & the Dome at America Center. The Dome was our super late model debut.
In 2022, we are making the switch to a 2021 MBCustoms chassis and will be moving up to the super late model division full time. Our plans for this season are to get to know the new car and bigger motor by racing throughout central Illinois.
