AJ started racing caged karts at the age of 6. He is currently 15 years old and in the 9th grade.
The moment AJ sat in his cage kart for the first time, it was over! The only thing AJ wants to do is race! He would race everyday if it were possible.
AJ's motto has always been, if you aren't racing to win, you are wasting your time!

2018
AJ Harbaugh's first season in a full size sprint car, exceeded all expectations. The 15 year old's season included 23 races, throughout Oregon and Washington. Main event finishes would be three top fives, and ten top tens. AJ would win four heat races, and qualify first three times. He was a top five qualifier twelve times.
Embarking on ISCS Speed Week, six races in six days, is not an easy endeavor. AJ would finish 6th out of 19 in points for the week.
The end of the 2018 season proved to be successful for this rookie.
AJ would claim Cottage Grove Speedway Rookie of the Year, and 7th in speedway points.
