About Paul
Paul started racing in 2004 when he was only 8 years old. He was first introduced to the drivers seat on a flat kart at Hwy 120 Speedway in Mooresboro, NC. He would progress quickly winning a few races throughout the years and showed tons of interested in climbing the ranks. In 2009 he would get the opportunity of getting behind the wheel of a car when he was only 13 years old. He quickly made fit with the car and was making laps at Carolina Speedway when it was only him to get adjusted to the step up from a kart. In his first race he was ever behind the wheel of a car he brought home a 2nd place finish (Cleveland County Speedway). This was just the beginning of the addiction Paul would acquire of racing. In 2011 Paul would be gifted a new race car from his parents that he would immediately become accustomed to and grab his first ever career win coming at the famed Cherokee Speedway. Paul would go on to claim the Crate Sportsman Track Championship at Cherokee Speedway that year. Paul and crew would take 2012 and begin to travel from track to track to get a little more seat time and explore different ways of racing. 2013 would be a year that Paul will never forget as this would be the season he would set his personal yearly Feature Wins (4 wins). Paul would finish the year out at Harris Speedway and just miss the Championship by a few points and having to settle for Runner-up in the Crate Sportsman division.
