Driver Profile

Sean started at an early age in racing dirt bikes an motocross. After many successful years in motocross racing he stepped into dirt track racing. With the help of his father Cal Quinn and race partner Terry Caves (owners of Lightning race cars). Sean began racing micros sprints in Visalia. After obtaining rookie of the year and top three in points he stepped up to the mini sprints the next year where he obtained rookie of the year and top three in points again.

Cal Quinn and Terry Caves purchased Lightning race cars in the late 80's. They had many successful years of racing midgets and sprint cars competing in USAC Sprints and the Western states Midgets. Just a list of drivers included Johnny Parsons, Sleepy Tripp, Rich Vogler, Jac Hadenschild, Johnny Herrera, Keven Olson, Ronnie Day, Russ Gamester, Dave Strickland, Robbie Gordon, and finally Steve Kinser and Ken Schrader making the A Main driving midgets at the Chili bowl on the same night.
