About Jake

Dirt racing has been a passion of mine ever since I was young. I have been racing since 2008 when I began in quarter midgets in Greenville, Illinois. This random start came because of my dad's prior connections with dirt racing in the late 80's, 90's and early 2000's. He used to wrench on Darrel Hoffman's Modified and Jim Durbin's late model around the Southern Illinois region. One day i woke up and he was on Ebay and asked my sister and I if we wanted to try racing and over a decade late here we are.
We began racing a B-Modified in 2014 and a A-Modified in 2017. The jump between all of these classes was immense! While getting older and learning more about racing, I wanted to keep a log of all of the races I have been in so I could discover ways to get better. I also like to keep track of my journey and maybe see how I have grown. Youtube was a way for me to organize videos and allow publicity to get out about what we do. I strongly suggest you come along and look at some of the growth we have had at Jake Trebilcock on Youtube!
