About Roger

I grew up watching the races at Cottage Grove Speedway where my step dad drove the number 79 Chevelle from 1979 to 1990. After serving my country in the US Navy for 13 years after High School, I built a Hornet car and raced one season at Eugene Speedway. When the track closed for good in 1995, I raced the Sportsman class at Grove for about 3 races in 96, then sold it due to financial reasons. Now at 55 I have the bug again and would like to try it again. I am a rookie and will need some time to learn so bare with me.
