Ok racers, this week May 1, 2, Boss Speedway goes to a double header weekend to give you a good race fix! Two complete race programs, 2 nights of racing, to get the 2020 Championship Point Season back under way. Social distancing will be in practice, masks are recommend, our pit area will have a larger distance between pit stalls just for safety. As 2023 comes to a close, BCR is already planning on sliding into 2024 with very aggressive goals and plans! A quick recount of 2023 saw many changes for the team. The year started with Brogan racing BP karts in Emma, Mo, transitioning into a 250-winged outlaw kart in the spring and competing in the winter season at Red Bluff Outlaws. Kyle Steffens made a surprise start at Doe Run Raceway (Doe Run, Mo.) on Saturday afternoon aboard his Performance Plus Global Logistics No. 8 Winged Kart for the Indoor Racing Series event. Starting the 20-lap feature in third via a third-place finish in his heat, Steffens made a late-race pass for the lead on lap 18 en route to his first win of the 2024 season. Kyle Steffens returned to Doe Run Raceway (Doe Run, Mo.) over the weekend and ended the night in victory lane aboard his J.S Performance No. 8 Winged Kart. Following a runner-up showing in his heat, Steffens rolled to a flag-to-flag victory in the 20-lap feature. The win marked his second of the 2024 season.
