Landon Britt opened his August racing slate on Tuesday night at Lakeside Speedway (Kansas City, Kan.) with the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series (ASCS). Twenty Sprint Car pilots registered for action, and Landon qualified second fastest in his group before starting and finishing third in his heat race. For the night's 25-lap feature he rolled off the grid eighth, but slipped to a 12th-place finish. Full results are available at www.ASCSracing.com.

On Tuesday evening, Ryan Timms entered his CitGard Engine Oil No. 5T Sprint into battle with the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series (ASCS) at Lakeside Speedway (Kansas City, Kan.) for the Road to Knoxville. With 20 entries on the grounds, Timm laid down the fourth-fastest time in his group before placing second in his heat.
