The Grays Harbor Raceway Season Opener has been postponed until next Saturday, May 17th. There has been a tremendous amount of rain over the past couple of days and more is predicted overnight and at times tomorrow. After conferring with the track crew, it was obvious that the chances of getting the track in good racing condition was unrealistic. Terry McCarl charged from ninth in the starting grid to the win in the Championship Sprint feature on the Loren Barstad Memorial weekend. McCarl and early race leader Jack Dover traded the lead a countless number of times in the 25 lap feature. Dover finished second. Eric Lutz finished third in the feature after staring 12th.
