Some nights racing is a struggle. Last night's Buckeye Outlaw Sprint Series race at Gas City Speedway was one. I battled my race car and the track. Quick in qualifying, got caught high in heat and didn't transfer. Did win a B Main and made Feature but finished 17th overall. I got to race a Sprint on a beautiful night and visit with fans/friends so no complaints. On to the next race!

Usac Midget Week night 1 brought 32 midgets into the red clay of Bloomington Speedway. Justin Grant would set the quick time at 11.974. Friday night was a final tune up before Indiana Sprint Week comes to Bloomington July 29th. 27 sprint entries filled the pits and it would be a loaded field. Even tho the Feature was rained out, it was still a good night on the dirt at Lawrenceburg Speedway with the United States Auto Club's best National Sprint racers. Raced the #98 Glenn Farms Sprint to a 2nd place Heat finish and was ready for a solid run in the Feature. Not bad for a car with a replacement engine we installed only a few hours before the race!

Bibent Racing was "on the gas" tonight at Gas City Speedway. I raced the Wedgewood Motorsports #98 Glenn Farms Sprint to a heat race win. Started 6th in the feature, worked my way up and finished a strong 2nd. Wanted the win, but happy with another podium finish. Will be racing at Lawrenceburg Speedway on Saturday night.
