Madera, CA……Cody Jessop of Los Banos, Calif. won USAC’s Western HPD Midget feature Saturday night at Madera Speedway. The 15-lap "restricted" feature went to Joel Rayborne. In the 30-lap HPD main Jessop passed Shawn Buckley on lap three and led the rest of the way to beat Dylan Nobile, Annie Breidinger, Tom Patterson and Toni Breidinger. Wayne City, IL- Dave Darland of Lincoln, IN piloted the Schuett Racing Inc. #31 Esslinger-powered, Spike Chassis to a 13th place finish after getting caught up in an early race incident in which Tanner Thorson spun, collecting Darland and 5 other cars, bringing out the caution.
