DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (December 8, 2022) - The 2022 lineup for the Lucas Oil National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by Hi Plains Building Division has been revealed with 34 nights of action on tap for the National Micros.
2022 will mark the 10th season of competition for the National Open Wheel 600 Series.
13 different facilities in 7 different states highlight the 2022 schedule.
"We are excited for the 2022 schedule." stated NOW600 Series Founder, Terry Mattox. "We have a variety of tracks both big and small along with returning to quite a few favorites."
Superbowl Speedway in Greenville, Texas will begin the season on February 17-18 followed by the Melmark Pipe and Supply Micro Meltdown on February 26-27.
Oklahoma City's I-44 Riverside Speedway returns to the Lucas Oil National schedule for a two day affair on March 11-12 with I-30 Speedway in Little Rock, Arkansas closing out the month of March.
A pair of Missouri venues makeup the month of April. For the first time, the National Micros take on the Dallas County Speedway in Urbana, MO on April 8-9 with Sweet Springs Motorsports Complex hosting the mighty micros on April 29-30.
Port City Raceway will host their first of eight appearances on May 6-7.
For the first time in series history the National Micros will break into the state of Illinois, as Tri-City Speedway in Pontoon Beach, IL will host for the first time along with the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series.
Sooner 600 Week will take place on June 8-12 featuring Caney Valley Speedway on Wednesday, Creek County Speedway on Thursday, Red Dirt Raceway on Friday, Port City Raceway on Saturday and Outlaw Motor Speedway closing out Speedweek on Sunday.
No racing in the month of July to take off for the month of money with other big shows taking place.
Returning to the state of Nebraska, Jefferson County Speedway will host the traveling titans on August 19-20.
Pete Frazier Memorial returns on Labor Day weekend at Port City Raceway.
A pair of weekends make up October's schedule. Caney Valley Speedway's Border-Town Throwdown returns to the NOW600 schedule on October 7-8.
The Restricted class will take center stage once again on October 20-22 for the KKM Giveback Classic.
Back to back weekends will close out the 2022 season with Creek County Speedway on November 4-5 with a TBA in Texas on November 11-12.
