Celebrating winning a championship and being at the top of a series is one special accomplishment, and it makes it even more special when the top-three finishers in the series are utilizing and winning with your products. When the dust settled on the 2011 Golden State King of the West Sprint Series season, champion Tim Kaeding was running Astro Titanium components on his Roth Motorsports machine, along with runner-up Even Suggs and third-place Brent Kaeding.
Tim Kaeding had a dominant season en route to claiming the King of the West Sprint Series title, finishing in the top-five over 20 times. He recorded a series-high six victories, including two at Ocean Speedway, as well as trips to Victory lane at Thunderbowl Raceway, Calistoga Speedway, Antioch Speedway, and Giant Chevrolet Kings Speedway.
Finishing second in the point standings and celebrating his best season to date, was Evan Suggs. The native of Scotts Valley, Calif. won the Howard Kaeding Classic at Ocean Speedway in July and would wrap up the year with nine top-five and 14 top-10 finishes.
It came down to the last event of the season, but Brent Kaeding was able to finish in the third position in the standings. The multi-time King of California scored runner-up finishes at both Antioch Speedway and Thunderbowl Raceway, earning seven top-five and 16 top-10 finishes with the series.
