JONESTOWN, Pa. (September 27, 2021) - Despite a tough two days during visits to Eldora Speedway and Lernerville Speedway, highlighting the trip with a 12th-place score during Lernerville’s Commonwealth Clash on Saturday, September 25, the “Jonestown Jet” Brock Zearfoss is finally home, ready to take on the Pennsylvania Posse, as well as his fellow Outlaws, in the two-day Williams Grove Speedway National Open.
Headlining action at the world-famous paperclip on Friday and Saturday, October 1-2, the two-day National Open will act as the final “crown jewel” on the 2021 World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series schedule, concluding with a $75,000-to-win main event on Saturday night. Action will begin with a $10,000-to-win preliminary on Friday.
Brock Zearfoss is certainly no stranger to battling the Posse and World of Outlaws at the famed Williams Grove Speedway. In fact, the Jonestown, Pennsylvania-native is former Outlaws winner in Mechanicsburg, scoring a Summer Nationals preliminary victory in 2017.
Zearfoss will enter the Williams Grove Speedway National Open ninth in the World of Outlaws driver standings padded by 21 top-ten finishes.
“We had a great trip throughout the West Coast, but it’s great to be home...there’s no place like home,” Zearfoss said, driver of the Brock Zearfoss Racing, Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill, Heavy Equipment, Loaders & Parts Inc., C&D Rigging Inc., Meckley's Limestone Products, Berkebile Oil Company, Klick Lewis Cars, J.P. Adamsky Trucking, X-1 Race Cars, No. 3Z sprint car. “Having the comfort of working from home will do wonders for the team, as well. The guys have been busting their butts, but now that we can work out of our own shop, we can really take the time to prepare and get things ready for the Williams Grove National Open. I’m excited to get back and see what we can do. It’s tough to think that it’s already October.”
Port Royal Speedway’s Nittany Showdown is also on the upcoming World of Outlaws agenda, set to take over the Juniata County Fairgrounds on Friday and Saturday, October 8-9. Much like Williams Grove, Zearfoss is by no means a stranger to the Port Royal “Speed Palace,” scoring a track championship in 2017.
