VINCENTOWN, N.J. (September 23, 2021) - The 2021 season may be heading down the homestretch, but Justin Whittall and JW Motorsports still have a lot to contend for, as the month of September is set to conclude with a pair of heavy-hitting programs in Pennsylvania Posse Country, all of which kicking off with Williams Grove Speedway’s Outlaw Tune Up set for Friday, September 24.
Giving Posse competitors one last chance to prepare for the highly sought-after National Open, the Williams Grove Tune Up will award a $6,000 top prize, utilizing the standard World of Outlaws format to set the evening’s preliminary and feature grids.
In addition, Whittall will partake in Selinsgrove Speedway’s Jim Nace Memorial | National Open on Saturday, September 25. The event will award a $20,000 top prize, as well as conclude all sprint car competition at the Speedway for the 2021 season.
Whittall, driver of the JG Kronenberger Fine Jewelry, Mid-Atlantic Transport, Brotherton Brewing Company, Beechwood Landscape Architecture and Construction LLC, Pioneer Auto Body, Worldwide Bearings, FK Rod Ends, Stilo Helmets, Keizer Aluminum Wheels, Enterprise, Ground Blind Boys, No. 67 sprint car, is certainly no stranger to the ovals at Williams Grove and Selinsgrove. Recent results for the Vincentown, New Jersey-native include a top-ten in Selinsgrove’s Jack Gunn Memorial, as well a victory at Williams Grove; a first-ever sprint car triumph.
“It’s a big weekend for our team, and it’s the first of many big weekends during the last few weeks of our season,” Whittall said, who earned his first-ever victory on June 4. “These upcoming races are going to attract some of the toughest fields in the country, so it would be extra special to us to perform well, get ourselves in the shows, and contend for great finishes, the National Open included. I can’t thank everyone associated with this team enough. It’s been a long season, but we’re not done yet. We got that first win, now it’s time to get the second.”
