Bryan Hulbert – LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (September 8, 2021) One final chance to take on I-30 Speedway before the COMP Cams Short Track Nationals presented by Hoosier Tires, the ASCS Mid-South Region invades the high-banks for the Ralph Henson Memorial on Saturday, September 11.

The 14th time the Henson Memorial has been contested, Pennsylvania’s Mark Smith grabbed the win in 2020. Topped the year before by Tim Crawley, who won previously in 2015, he is one of only three drivers to have multiple wins in the Henson. Others on the list include Zach Pringle (2010 and 2011) and Derek Hagar (2016 and 2018). Other winners include Gary Wright (2008), Jeff Swindell (2009), Dal Howard (2012), Cody Gardner (2013), Jordon Mallett (2014), and Tony Bruce, Jr. (2017).

Going into the weekend, Paxton Gregory leads the tour by 13 over Landon Crawley. Third is held by Kevin Hinkle, who is 72 points removed from the lead, with Tim Crawley and Cody Gardner making up the top five.

Opening at 5:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 11, the action at I-30 Speedway is slated to begin at 7:30 P.M. (CT) and includes RaceSaver Sprint Cars, IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Stock Cars, and NOW600 Micros. Admission is $20 for adults with Kids 12 and under free thanks to Barnhart Heating & Air.
