Hello and thanks for stopping by and visiting our website again. Not much has happened with SCoNE since our last race. The July 17th race at RumTown Speedway was rained out which was a bummer. So we will be back at RumTown this coming Saturday 8/14/21.
SCoNE would like to thank the Nascar Modified Tour teams of Gary Putnam Racing and Elizabeth Manion Racing for carrying the 2021 JRC Transportation Sprint Cars of New England decals on the cars of #77 of Max McLaughlin and #53 Ryan Newman at the July race at NHMS. We got some good exposure from people in the pit area and such . But unfortunately Max got involved in a wreck on lap one when another car bounced off the wall and hit the 77 who hit the front stretch wall as well. And later on the 53 had a mechanical issue. But both drivers would like to try and run in a SCoNE race someday if possible. Also we had a chance to go to a couple World of Outlaws races in NY State and watch some great 410 sprint car action. Connecticut's David Gravel finished 5th at Ransomville, and won the race at Weedsport. David has been sponsored by JRC Transportation from Thomaston , CT. since he started racing. The gravel family was great help with getting SCoNE a series title sponsor for 2021. If your looking for some David Gravel merchandise visit his website . We were able to secure some merchandise for some fan giveaways so go check out our Facebook page for contests and more.
On July 24th SCoNE Champion Chris Donnelly won a 360 sprint car race at Bear Ridge Speedway. Many SCoNE teams went to the race and congrats to all. Glad to see Chris defend his home track and show the local sprint car fans his talent.
There are five races remaining on the 2021 schedule and please come out to support our series and our sponsorship partners who make it all happen.
