Smith picks up Sioux City Enduro Crown

For the first time in 22 years a full blown enduro was hosted at Park Jefferson Speedway. Featuring 200 laps, shortened due to the field size and conditions, competitors came from around the midwest to compete in this inaugural event Driver came sporting cars of unique shapes and sizes not seen at Park Jefferson. Some cars featured late model stock car bodies, running both steel and aluminum engines. A number featured a traditional sprint car wing on top with adjustability. Others came were a 4 cylinder IMCA sport compact, a 22 year old stock car and a handful of modified bodies.
It was 200 laps of green, white checkered action as Dustin Smith of the racing Smiths started on the pole and never looked back. He lead from green to checkered lapping the entire field. Andy Boeckman was second and Devin Smith came in third. Drivers young and old were involved seeing final place driver Mike Michalek return to racing for the first time in over 20 years while Kyle Moos battled hard in his 4 cylinder.

A huge thanks went to Mike Vondrak in 4th who helped coordinate the evening races.
