VINCENTOWN, N.J. (July 12, 2021) - It has not been an easy stretch for Vincentown, New Jersey’s Justin Whittall, highlighting his most recent attempt with a 19th-place score at the Port Royal “Speed Palace” on Saturday, July 10, but despite the frustration and poor luck, the recent Williams Grove Speedway main event winner is still plenty hungry for victory number two, aiming to return to his winning ways this Friday and Saturday at Williams Grove Speedway and Port Royal.
Whittall, driver of the JW Motorsports, JG Kronenberger Fine Jewelry, Mid-Atlantic Transport, Brotherton Brewing Company, Beechwood Landscape Architecture and Construction LLC, Pioneer Auto Body, Worldwide Bearings, FK Rod Ends, Stilo Helmets, Keizer Aluminum Wheels, Enterprise, Ground Blind Boys, No. 67 sprint car, scored his aforementioned Williams Grove Speedway win, a $6,000 triumph at that, on Friday, June 4. The victory was Whittall’s first-ever at the Mechanicsburg paperclip and his first-ever aboard a 410 sprint car.
“We’re always hungry for more. It just hasn’t been a real great few weeks for us,” Whittall said, a former URC competitor before turning to the 410 ranks full-time. “We know we have the speed and the potential to win with the Pennsylvania Posse. We just need to put it all together and get ourselves back to the front. I can’t say enough about my team. I have an incredible support group behind me and I wouldn’t be where I am today without them. Here’s to a few more wins this season.”
Williams Grove Speedway will host a World of Outlaws tune-up on Friday, July 16. The Greatest Show On Dirt will invade The Grove for the annual Summer Nationals doubleheader on Friday and Saturday, July 23-24.
