by John Rittenoure - LAWTON, Okla. (July 10, 2021) - On March 27 Steven Shebester won his first AmeriFlex / OCRS IMCA Sprint Car feature at Lawton Speedway. Saturday Shebester picked up where he left off winning at Lawton Speedway for the second time in 2021.
Shebester, who has raced in only 8 AmeriFlex / OCRS IMCA events, became the seasons first four-time winner.
After winning the first heat, Shebester drew the pole for the 25-lapper and made the best of it leading from start-to-finish. Joe Bob Lee started outside front row and stayed there to finish second. Gary Owens, Jeremy Allen and Sheldon Barksdale completed the top 5.
The AmeriFlex / OCRS IMCA Sprints now have a month off before returning to action on August 20 at Humboldt Speedway followed by a trip to Nevada Speedway on August 21.
