June 30, 2021 | Tulsa, OK; After more consideration and discussion, Port City Raceway and the DRC Legacy Foundation have decided to change the rain-out date of 10th Anniversary Donnie Ray Crawford Memorial Race.
For many reasons, we are moving this race to Saturday, July 10, 2021. Although we understand this date won’t accommodate everyone, we feel it best serves the majority. And, will give the racers the opportunity to run 3 shows!!!
The memorial race will be ran before the POWRi Midget show begins on Saturday. Green flag drops for the remaining 3 “B” features at 6:00 pm.
There will be a slight change in the race format and we are hoping everyone finds it favorable. If there are racers who qualified for the A feature, but for some reason will not be in attendance for this race on Saturday July 10th, we will move the next non-qualifier (who is in attendance) to the rear of the A feature in each class. This will ensure each Championship A-feature has a full field of cars.
Unfortunately, if you did not participate in the memorial race on June 25 & 26, you will not be eligible to run in this memorial race. However, you will have a full night of racing ahead with the weekly points race immediately following!
So, mark these dates on your calendar:
Friday, July 9, 2021 - 8:00 pm - Weekly Points Race (rescheduled from
May 22, 2021) is back on the schedule.
Saturday, July 10, 2021 - 6:00 pm -
10th Anniversary Donnie Ray Crawford Memorial Race Features (rescheduled from June 26, 2021)
At the conclusion of the DRC event we will ask everyone to vacate both the pit area as well as the General admission area to purchase pit passes and tickets for the weekly points/ POWRi West portion of the event.
Saturday, July 10, 2021 - Immediately following the DRC Memorial Race
POWRi West Midgets &. Weekly Points Race
It’s going to be a great weekend of racing. Hope to see you there!
