TULSA, Okla. (January 2, 2010) – Three full days of racing action at the Tulsa State Fairgrounds QuikTrip Center culminated with 24 different competitors coming away with a special Silver Anniversary version of the Golden Driller trophy at the Tulsa Expo Raceway's 25th Annual Tulsa Shootout.
A staggering total of 1,090 competitors from throughout the nation, including a record 584 Micro Sprint Cars along with approximately 300 Karts and 100 Quads, battled it out over the course of the New Year's weekend.
When the weekend's final checkered flag flew, it was California's Ryan Reeves taking top honors in the headliner Outlaw Micro Sprint championship main event.
