Justin Whittall breaks through for first-ever Williams Grove Speedway victory

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

VINCENTOWN, N.J. (June 7, 2021) - For the first time in his career, Justin Whittall is a Williams Grove Speedway main event winner, doing so in dramatic fashion while in action on Friday evening, June 4. The win, a wire-to-wire victory from the front row, scored the Vincentown, New Jersey-native a $6,000 payday, holding back fellow front row starter, Kyle Moody, and a quick moving Danny Dietrich in the process.

In fact, Whittall’s command stretched to nearly two seconds by the midpoint of the 25-lapper, but slower cars forced Whittall to check up allowing Moody and Dietrich to close the gap. Despite a last-ditch effort by Moody, pulling even with the red and black No. 67 coming out of turn four, Whittall held strong, beating Moody back to the line by less than a second.

The Williams Grove Speedway victory was Whittall’s second podium result of the 2021 season, ultimately bettering his Open Wheel Madness third-place score from April 24.

“This is unbelievable,” Justin Whittall said of his Williams Grove Speedway win. “We’ve been working for this moment for a long time. We live in New Jersey, but this is exactly why we come to Central Pennsylvania every weekend to race. These guys make you better. This feeling is like no other and we’re already excited for the opportunity to try again this weekend. I just want to thank my family, my crew, my partners; without all of you, this isn’t possible. Not by any means.”

Justin Whittall, ace of the JW Motorsports, JG Kronenberger Fine Jewelry, Mid-Atlantic Transport, Brotherton Brewing Company, Beechwood Landscape Architecture and Construction LLC, Pioneer Auto Body, Worldwide Bearings, FK Rod Ends, Stilo Helmets, Keizer Aluminum Wheels, Enterprise, Ground Blind Boys, No. 67 sprint car, will continue his 2021 campaign with another weekend stint in Pennsylvania Posse Country, tentatively planning to make his return to Williams Grove Speedway on June 11, followed by a visit Port Royal Speedway on Saturday, June 12.
