Eric Lutz and Jason Martin would score the wins as the Property Solutions of America Midwest Sprint Touring Series traveled to Wagner Speedway and Off Road Speedway.
On Friday night, the Wagner, South Dakota, racetrack welcomed it biggest crowd of the year and they’d watch the two-time series champion, Eric Lutz, pilot his #5 around the high-banked speedway leading all 25 laps to take home his first win of the season. Behind Lutz, Jody Rosenboom claimed Cressman Sanitation Hard Charger honors placing second ahead of Ryan Bickett, Chuck McGillivray and Dylan Opdahl.
The Off Road Speedway in Norfolk, Nebraska, hosted its first of two MSTS races of 2021 on Saturday night. In a thrilling feature event, Jason Martin would get his second win with the series by holding off Jack Dover in the closing laps of the event. The win for Martin was his first with MSTS since taking the checkered flag at Park Jefferson Speedway in 2019.
As Dover was contesting for the lead, he would shred his right rear tire with just a few laps to go. Ryan Bickett capitalized on the late restart and move up to take second ahead of Brant O’Banion. Seth Brahmer and Chuck McGillivray completed the top five.
Up next, the Property Solutions of American Midwest Sprint Touring Series joins the Midwest Power Series for two nights of action. This Friday, the tours compete at Jackson Motorplex before turning to I-90 Speedway in Hartford, South Dakota, on Saturday.
