CDR: Charging to Top Five at Deer Creek

After capturing their 9th victory of the World of Outlaws season on Friday, Craig Dollansky and the #7 team brought the catchy Aggressive Hydraulics paint scheme to Deer Creek Speedway the following night where action continued as Minnesota-based company Aggressive Hydraulics hosted a special hospitality event for their customers and employees.

A late qualifying draw put the Big Game Treestands #7 team in a bit of a hole when the night got underway as moisture went away during the latter stages of qualifying where Dollansky qualified 15th fastest, missing the inversion by a mere 0.058 seconds. Needing to finish first or second in the heat to transfer into the dash, 'The Crowd Pleaser' brought the excitement in the heat race to accomplish just that as he motored around the high-banks from the fifth starting spot up to 2nd at the finish. In the dash Dollansky started tenth and continued to better his starting position for the main event by passing three cars.

The Karavan Trailers Maxim started inside of row four for the A-Main. When the green flag dropped on the 35-lap race 'The Crowd Pleaser' wasted no time working to the front of the pack as he passed two cars on the first lap and another two before the first caution came on lap 3. On the restart Dollansky tried to make the bottom side work but lost a couple positions. With most of the field falling in line around the high side of the track the Eaton's Aeroquip Performance Products #7 ran fifth until lap 14 when Dollansky put a slidejob on Kerry Madsen to take fourth. Dollansky, Madsen, and Brad Sweet executed numerous slidejobs as laps winded down with Dollansky racing past Sweet on lap 26 to reclaim fourth and hold the position for the remainder of the race to cap a strong weekend aboard the Aggressive Hydraulics paint scheme.

A weekday race at Hartford Speedway in Michigan is up next for the #7 team where they will again sport the primary Big Game Treestands paint scheme on Wednesday.
