Old 71 and Valley Dates Approach for POWRi Central States Midgets

Belleville, IL. (06/06/2021) Hitting the ground running, the newly formed POWRi Central States Midget Series will now hold their first two-day weekend of racing slated for Friday, June 11th at Old 71 Speedway and Saturday, June 12th at Valley Speedway. Added incentives are on the line for any driver able to sweep the weekend as well as high-point qualifier bonuses.

Recently re-opened outside Butler Missouri, Old 71 Speedway will host midget racing for the first time since reviving the racetrack in late-2020 on Friday, June 11th with many local competitors highly anticipating setting lap times around the speedy three-eighths-mile. Valley Speedway, in Grain Valley Missouri, continues to be a staple in open-wheel racing in the Kansas City region, hosting next on Saturday, June 12th setting the stage for a weekend of excitement with the POWRi Central States Midget Series.

Pit Gates Open – 4:00 PM
General Admission – 5:00 PM
Drivers Registration – 4:00-6:45 PM
Drivers Meeting – 7:00 PM
Hot Laps – 7:30 PM

The POWRi Central States Midget Series membership forms can be found online at http://www.powri.com/downloads/get.aspx?i=617373. A driver registration fee of $100, which supplies the $100,000 secondary insurance policy, for the season for each participating driver and is a requirement for all participants in the POWRi Racing League.
