Bill Balog and B Squared Motorsports Earn Three Top 10’s, Two Top 5’s and a First ASCoC Podium During the Four Night Indiana Invasion

Hartland, Wisconsin (May 26th, 2021) – Bill Balog and B Squared Motorsports continued their 2021 FloRacing All Star Circuit of Champions presented by Mobil 1 (ASCoC) race series success with a podium run during their transition into short-track mode, as the series traded blows during the Indiana Invasion four-race championship presented by Rayce Rudeen Foundation.

Balog claimed his first ASCoC podium finishing third on May 22nd at Gas City I-69 Speedway while securing 5th and 8th place A-Main finishes in his first appearance at Circle City Raceway in the Anderson’s Maple Syrup, Mr. Jim’s Racing, Indian Motorcycle of Metro Milwaukee, XYZ Machining, Rocky Rococo's Pizza, Forest Brook Farms LLC/Forest Brook Trucking LLC, #17B sprint car.

“We unloaded with speed at Gas City I-69 Speedway and you have to capitalize on those opportunities when you run with this level of competition. We made a few changes after the dash redraw and had a ton of fun battling with Rico there in the main for the runner up spot. It was good to get that first podium, we’ll keep digging to get that first win.” said Balog, the10x IRA Sprint Car Champ.

After 75 rowdy bullring laps of Circle City Raceway feature competition Bill brought the CK Contractors LLC, Buesser Concrete, Wisecup Siding, Howard Law, Wayne Corini, CPA, Lein Acres, Turn It Up Media #17B sprint car to the finish line with a 5th place and 8th place finish respectively, capturing his 5th top 5 of the season.

“We knew the Indiana Invasion bullring races were going to carry a ton of intensity and close racing as everyone was gunning for the Rayce Rudeen Foundation money. It was almost everyone’s first time at Circle City with a wing and the track was different on both nights, so it gave us a chance each night while we were learning. The car kept getting better and better throughout the features. We gotta thank our sponsor partners and crew for putting us in the position to run at this level. Whether the track was wet and tacky or dry-slick it was great racing and a lot of fun.” said Balog driver of the CK Contractors LLC, Buesser Concrete, Wisecup Siding, Howard Law, Wayne Corini, CPA, Lein Acres, Turn It Up Media sprint car.

The team was second in All Star Circle of Champions Indiana Invasion by Rayce Rudeen Foundation points heading into the final event at Kokomo Speedway. After qualifying for the feature event through the B-Main, Bill advanced from the 22nd starting position to challenge the top 12 before contact with a car that spun ended his points run. Despite the damage to the rear of the car, Bill was able to restart from the rear of the field after a tire change. Bill brought the damaged #17B home in 15th place (+7) to end the weekend Indiana swing.
