JONESTOWN, Pa. (May 25, 2021) - Quickly rebounding after suffering from a “DNF” result at Bridgeport Motorsports Park on Tuesday, May 18, the “Jonestown Jet” Brock Zearfoss is officially back on track, securing back-to-back top-ten finishes during World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series competition at Attica Raceway Park and Sharon Speedway on May 20-21, respectively.
Zearfoss, pilot of the Brock Zearfoss Racing, Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill, Heavy Equipment, Loaders & Parts Inc., C&D Rigging Inc., Meckley's Limestone Products, Berkebile Oil Company, Klick Lewis Cars, J.P. Adamsky Trucking, X-1 Race Cars, No. 3Z sprint car, finished eighth and seventh, respectively, during his Ohio doubleheader, highlighting the pair with a top-notch performance at Sharon Speedway. The former Port Royal Speedway champion climbed five sports at the Hartford oval, earning his way into the evening’s A-Main after finishing fourth during heat race action.
Just as impressive, Zearfoss turned his eighth-row starting position at Attica Raceway Park into an eighth-place finish, forced to start deep after finishing sixth during his respective heat race. The 2021 World of Outlaws Rookie of the Year contender certainly knows his way around the Attica highbanks, as Zearfoss is a former Brad Doty Classic winner, scoring $10,000 for the All Star Circuit of Champions triumph in 2019.
In total, Zearfoss advanced 13 feature positions in two days, now with 14 total top-ten finishes on the year, eight of which with the Greatest Show On Dirt.
“We needed that weekend, for sure. The luck hasn’t been there for us lately, so finding some positive momentum was the key. I think we achieved that,” Brock Zearfoss said, who is currently ninth in the World of Outlaws championship standings. “I can’t thank everyone enough for sticking behind us during these last few weeks. Our team is strong and the people behind us are the real backbone. I’m excited to keep this stretch going and hopefully contend for a win at Terre Haute and Lawrenceburg.”
Brock Zearfoss and Brock Zearfoss Racing will continue their 2021 World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series campaign with a two-pack in the Hoosier State, set to invade the historic Terre Haute Action Track on Friday, May 28, followed by a visit to the highly touted Lawrenceburg Speedway on Monday, May 31.
