Bryan Hulbert – ARDMORE, Okla. (May 12, 2021) Making their first appearance at the Southern Oklahoma Speedway, the ASCS Elite Non-Wing Series presented by Abilene Powder Coating will roll into Ardmore, Okla. on Saturday, May 15.
What should be the series second trip to the Oklahoma oval, the 2020 show was canceled by the pandemic. The second event of the month inside Oklahoma lines, the non-wing series, was last on track on Saturday, May 1, at Lawton Speedway, with Steven Shebester topping a field of 27 competitors. Six events on the season, only Shebester, who is eighth in standings, has more than one win. Justin Zimmerman, Paul White, Keith Martin and Kyle Jones are the other winners on the season.
Justin Zimmerman leads the way into this weekend by 80 points over Paul White. The pair are chased by tour rookies Mason Smith and Dalton Stevens. Making up the top five is Cody Price.
Along with the ASCS Elite Non-Wing Series presented by Abilene Powder Coating, the night will include IMCA Hobby Stocks, Eco-Mods, and Sport Mods. The 2021 season is the 30th year of competition for the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by the MAVTV Motorsports Network.
