Chase Fischer Returns to POWRi MLS Victory Lane as Lake Ozark Looms

Belleville, IL. (05/9/2021) In a preview of the rapidly approaching POWRi Lightning Sprint Nationals at Central Missouri Speedway, the Lucas Oil POWRi Midwest Lightning Sprints once again would visit the speedy Warrensburg Missouri three-eighths-mile oval. With plenty of eagerness throughout the field for nearly every position, Chase Fischer would again find the fastest route around the speedway, claiming this third win of the early season.

Previous week’s winner Bobby Layne and a very-quick Jeff Bard would pick up the heat racing wins, as the field was set for the feature event. Earning a pole-starting spot, Chase Fischer would not be denied as he rocketed his way around the well-prepared and quick racing surface.

Never letting go of the lead, Fischer would earn his third feature win in just four events race this season within POWRi MLS racing, notching his sixth-career series victory. Keeping pace with the front-running Fischer, Jeff Bard would hold on to the runner-up finishing spot as Bobby Layne raced his way to finishing a close third. Mark Billings and the hard-charging Kenny Bowers rounded out the feature’s top-five finishers at Central Missouri Speedway.
