VINCENTOWN, N.J. (May 6, 2021) – For the first time in 2021, the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series will make an appearance in Central Pennsylvania, and although Justin Whittall and JW Motorsports call the Garden State home, they are more than amped up about the opportunity to defend “home dirt” against the best that sprint car racing has to offer.
Calling Vincentown, New Jersey, home, Whittall, driver of the JW Motorsports, JG Kronenberger Fine Jewelry, Mid-Atlantic Transport, Brotherton Brewing Company, Beechwood Landscape Architecture and Construction LLC, Pioneer Auto Body, Worldwide Bearings, FK Rod Ends, Stilo Helmets, Keizer Aluminum Wheels, Enterprise, Ground Blind Boys, No. 67 sprint car, is a regular competitor within the Keystone State, making the long haul to Williams Grove Speedway, Port Royal Speedway, and others within Pennsylvania Posse territory, on a regular basis.
Still chasing that first-ever 410 sprint car win, Whittall highlights all recent results with a podium run at the Port Royal “Speed Palace” on April 24.
“We’re always excited when the Outlaws come to town. It’s a tough field with the best of the best making the call, but having the opportunity to join that level of competition is pretty special. We know what we are up against, but we wouldn’t trade the hype and the environment for anything,” Justin Whittall said. “I just want to thank my family, team, and supporters for making a season like this possible. We’re proud to call Central Pennsylvania our ‘home’ for racing. It’s the toughest place to race anywhere in the country on a weekly basis. It’s that level of competition that will do great things for our team.”
Whittall will test and tune for the Outlaws invasion on two occasions during the coming weekend, first visiting Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg on Friday, May 7, ultimately making his return to Port Royal Speedway the following evening. Friday’s Outlaw Tune-Up at Williams Grove will award a $6,000 top prize, utilizing time trials to set the heat race grids.
The World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series will begin their Central Pennsylvania sweep with a midweek appearance at the “Fabulous” Lincoln Speedway on Wednesday, May 12, followed by a two-day stop at Williams Grove Speedway on Friday and Saturday, May 14-15. Each event will award a minimum of $10,000 with Saturday’s Morgan Cup finale at Williams Grove awarding $17,000-to-win.
