Hartland, Wisconsin (May 3rd, 2021) – Despite kicking off the FloRacing All Star Circuit of Champions presented by Mobil 1 weekend with a rain annulled Pennsylvania/Ohio tripleheader at Lernerville Speedway on Friday Night, Bill Balog and B Squared Motorsports put together a solid weekend of racing. The team won both heat races and qualified for the dash on back-to-back nights on the way to scoring a pair of top five A-Main finishes at Sharon Speedway and Tri-City Raceway Park May 1st and 2nd.

In the team’s first appearance at both tracks, the Anderson’s Maple Syrup #17B won both heat races from the outside front row starting position while securing sixth place starting positions in both A-Mains. The North Pole Nightmare moved up to 5th in the 30 lap, $6,000 to win feature at Sharon Speedway and 4th in the treacherous 25 lap Tri-City Raceway Park finale, scoring his best finish of the young 2021 All Star Circuit of Champions season.

“Qualifying for the A-Main during our first night at Sharon Speedway is not easy, transferring through the dash was a great start for the team. We had a ton of fun tonight. You could rip the lip in qualifying and be very racey staying smooth on the slick track all the way through the A-Main,” said Bill Balog, driver of the Howard Law #17B.

The tracks were very different on back-to-back nights, racing a dry and slick racing surface on Saturday night to a rough and heavy Tri-City Raceway Park on Sunday, throwing a variety of challenges and the drivers and teams over the weekend of 410 sprint car racing.

“We caused some damage to the nose of the car in the dash at Tri-City and running hard in the main you could really use the car up, we were just surviving," Balog said after a demanding 25 lap A-Main.

“The team has tried some things I wouldn’t have tried on my own and we’re onto something with an unconventional torsion bar package. I have to thank the crew of Dennis Gregg, Joe Taylor, Big Matt Miller, Austen Semmelmann and Jason Sosnoski for their help this weekend and the whole team and all marketing partners that help make this thing happen. We’re looking to build on this for the rest of the season” said Bill Balog, driver of the Anderson's Pure Maple Syrup, CK Contractors LLC, Buesser Concrete, Wisecup Siding, Howard Law and Wayne Corini CPA #17B.
