Sprints and Late Models Highlight Lakeside Speedway Racing this Week!

(Kansas City, Kansas) Lakeside Speedway is poised to host two of the biggest nights of racing in the region this Thursday and Friday as the ASCS Warrior Region Sprint cars and Malvern Bank Super Late Models highlight action at the venue.
The ASCS Warrior Region Sprint Cars, presented by RacinBoys, Terry Mattox Promotions, and Impact Signs Awnings and Wraps takes place on Thursday, April 29th. Support classes include B-Mods and E-Mods.
Dylan Westbrook and Ryan Timms have already claimed Warrior Region victories this year. Timms leads the series standings over Sean McClelland, Jeremy Campbell, Austin O’Neal, and Tyler Blank in close pursuit. Drivers will compete for $2,000 to win and $300 to start in ASCS action. ASCS teams get two pit passes for $40. Heat races pay $100 and the Hard Charger earns $100.
TIMES: Pits Open 4:00PM, Grandstands Open 5:00PM, Hot Laps 7:15PM, Racing 8:00PM. TICKETS: General Admission: $20, Seniors: $15, Youth (13-15): $10, Kids 12 & Under: FREE, For Suite and Terrace availability call (913) 299-9206. Pit Pass: $35. 17 & Under must have signed Minor Release to enter pits.
Then, on Friday, April 30th, the SLMR Late Models head to Lakeside Speedway for the first of two planned events at the track this season. Support classes include B-Mods, Stock Cars, Pure Stocks, and Mod Lites. So far this year, Kyle Berck, Jeff Aikey, Andrew Kosiski, and Tad Pospisil have claimed SLMR victories.
FRIDAY TIMES: Pits Open 5PM, Grandstands Open 6PM, Pill Draw Closes 6:45PM, Pit Meeting 7PM, Hot Laps 7:15PM, Racing 7:45PM (or immediately following hot laps). TICKETS: General Admission: Adults (16+) $20, Seniors/Military $15, Juniors (12-15) $5, Under 12 FREE, Suites: Adults (13+) $30, Kids (2-12) $10, Under 2 FREE. Terrace: Adults (16+) $20, Seniors/Military $15, Juniors (12-15) $5, Under 12 FREE. For Suite and Terrace availability call (913) 299-9206. Pit Pass: 7 & Older $35, Under 7, $15, for those 17 and Under if entering pit area, they must have a signed Minor Release.
For those unable to make it in person on Friday, you may watch the event live via pay-per-view by pointing your web browser to www.lakesideSpeedway.TV. Once on the website, in the top left area of the page next to the Lakeside Speedway logo, click on “Upcoming Live” and from there select the event from the menu that appears and follow the payment prompts and questions. The fee is $19.99.
