Chase Fischer Continues Winning with I-35 Speedway Next for POWRi MLS

Belleville, IL. (04/27/2021) Billed as a preview to the POWRi Lightning Sprint Nationals on May 29-30, the Lucas Oil POWRi Midwest Lightning Sprints would visit the fast lap times of Central Missouri Speedway on Saturday, April 24th with an outstanding field of top-notch competitors all trying to gain the racing advantage. After a grueling fifteen-lap caution-free feature, Chase Fischer would grab his second victory of the MLS season.

Early competition would find Chase Fisher and Jason Mills earning heat race victories, setting the line-up for the feature event. Winslow, Indiana’s Mills, and Jefferson City, Missouri’s Fischer would lead the field to the starting green-flag lap.

Furious-paced racing at Central Missouri Speedway would see the POWRi Midwest Lightning Sprints go uninterrupted without a caution flag, Fischer and Mills proceeded to distance themselves from the rest of the field by the end of the event with Fischer picking up the victory. Paden Moreland would rise to the runner-up finishing spot after Mills neglected to go to the scales for post-race inspection forcing officials to disqualify the very fast Mills. Tenth-starting Bobby Layne would hard-charge his way to finish third as Brandon Smith placed fourth and Tyler Johnson rounded out the features top five.
