ASCS Elite Non-Wing Invading Kennedale Speedway Park

Bryan Hulbert – KENNEDALE, Texas (April 22, 2021) Round five of the 2021 season is set for Saturday, April 24, with the ASCS Elite Non-Wing Series presented by Abilene Powder Coating taking center stage at Kennedale Speedway Park.

The first of two appearances at the quarter-mile, semi-banked oval, the first four events of the year has produced just as many winners. Looking back at the last visit to Kennedale Speedway Park, the win went to Keith Martin over the 27 car field.

Leading the way into Saturday’s action is Justin Zimmerman. A 23 point buffer over Paul White, the fight for third is currently between Dalton Stevens and Mason Smith, who are separated by two markers. Harli White makes up the top five in tour standings.

Saturday, April 24, opens at 5:00 P.M. with racing at 7:00 P.M. (CDT). Additional classes in action include IMCA Sport Mods, Stock Cars, Factory Stocks, Sport Compacts, and Jr. Limited Modifieds.

Admission is $16, with youth 6-11 admitted for $5. Pits are $35. Kennedale Speedway Park is located at 6727 Hudson Village Creek in Kennedale, Texas. Information on the track can be found at www.kennedalespeedwaypark.com or by calling (817) 478-7223.

The 2021 season marks the 30th year of competition for the American Sprint Car Series. Spearheaded by the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by the MAVTV Motorsports Network, the ASCS Nation also includes 11 Regional Tours that encompass both wing and non-wing competition.
