Bryan Hulbert – CALHAN, Colo. (April 22, 2021) Ready for action to finally get underway, the ASCS Elite North Non-Wing Series will be in action at El Paso County Raceway on Saturday, April 24, for the tour’s first event of the season.
The second season for the Colorado-based non-wing series under the ASCS banner, last year’s lineup of events saw 14 nights contested, with the 2020 championship going to Colorado Springs driver Brett Ream. Six drivers went to Victory Lane. Running a part-time schedule, New Mexico’s Michael Fanelli topped the win column with four. Ream, Seesholtz, and Pearce each took a pair of wins, with Plemons and Merritt each winning once.
The first of seven events at the Colorado quarter-mile, Saturday’s event opens at 1:00 P.M. with racing at 5:00 P.M. (MDT). Along with the ASCS Elite North Non-Wing Series, NOW600 Mile High Micros, IMCA Modifieds, Stock Cars, Sport Mods, Hobby Stocks, and Sport Compacts will also be in action.

The 2021 season marks the 30th year of competition for the American Sprint Car Series. Spearheaded by the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by the MAVTV Motorsports Network, the ASCS Nation also includes 11 Regional Tours that encompass both wing and non-wing competition.
