Drivers Ready to Take on Valley Speedway and Lucas Oil

Belleville, IL. (04/19/2021) After a rainout weekend at I-30 Speedway, teams have regrouped for a two-day race weekend on tap for the POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget League. First stop on Saturday, April 24 will be held at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, MO, and night number two will be held at Grain Valley Speedway in Grain Valley, MO.

Some of the drivers expected to attend the event will be some familiar faces like Michael “Buddy” Kofoid, Daison Pursley, Jake Neuman, Cannon McIntosh, Tyler Thomas, Emerson Axsom, and tons more.

While we are only in the month of April, points are still very crucial for the drivers who are chasing the POWRi Championship. Right now, the top four drivers are within less than 200 points from the front runner, Kofoid. Daison Pursley sits in second and last year’s reigning champion, Jake Neuman sits in third, and Cannon McIntosh runs in the fourth position.

The last time the POWRI Lucas Oil National Midget League attended the famous Lucas Oil Speedway was back in 2019, Logan Seavey captured the win and Cannon McIntosh ran second. McIntosh will be back the 24th to try and capture the victory.

The last visit to Grain Valley Speedway Ace McCarthy found himself in victory lane. Jake Neuman ended up in the runner up position and will be attending Valley Speedway to try and gain one position to find himself on the top spot.
